SARAH GRACE NESBITT 200RYT

Yoga Alliance Certified Yoga Instructor

Professional Life's Purpose Certified Life Coach

Sarah spent the majority of her early 20's searching for

her calling through various careers. She spent 5 years

in architecture school, only to graduate with a Master's

and after 1.5 years of actually working in the field

decided it was not her cup of tea. After a year of various

odd and end jobs she got involved in Real Estate from

the encouragement of a friend who thought she would

be a great agent. Again, this pursuit lasted just under

two years. Finally, in December of 2012, a student and

good friend sat in front of her and asked her what she

wanted, what it was that made her happy. She realized

that all of her careers up until that point had ultimately

been for other people. She simultaneously realized that

yoga and offering guidance to other woman were the

two things that she consistently sought out for herself

out of pure enjoyment. These realizations were enough

to inspire her to pursue teaching yoga as her career. In

her teaching she sought to bring in philosophical and

life musings, so it was a natural fit to included life

coaching, a most marvelous pairing. Sarah can now say

that she wakes up excited for each and every day, to share her light and love with others through yoga and coaching. She knows that she has found her Life's Purpose. She shares this all to remind you that living your joy and your bliss is your birthright. Life is too short to be living lives or careers for other people. Her specialty and passion as a Life Coach is to help you clarify and pursue your Life's Purpose.

One of the most memorable aspects of our first session was how easy it was to open up to Sarah. She has such a lovely energy about her that reflects her genuinely good intentions. For me, confidence in those intentions is what I need to trust, and she gained that immediately. She asked questions and actively listened to my answers, which is a rare thing these days. Even more rare, she was passionate about wanting to help me.

Listening and asking questions is definitely a great skill for those attempting to guide others, but it also requires the ability to lead people into new territory so that they may begin to discover themselves. Sarah did this. She opened up issues and desires within me that I had no clue existed prior to speaking with her. This, coupled with my instinctual trust in her, allowed me to explore myself with humility, which I believe is necessary for personal change. She never judged, told me what was right or wrong or made me feel anything but safe in exploring new ideas within myself.

As a result, there is now light at the end of my self-inflicted tunnel. I’m exploring new things that I have rejected my entire life (funny how the things we adamantly battle against may be the very things we need to grow!) and I have the tools to confidently continue on this path towards internal happiness. Thank you so much, Sarah; you’ve had a profound influence on my life.”
